There is still the possibility to delete the patch via the debug menu but that is risky if you don’t know how to do it, try it first with the ItemzFlowManager if you have it, otherwise just install the 4.01 patch I think it will just be updated like an official patch.
Theoretically, you can simply install the new 4.01 patch over the old one, I always uninstalled the old patch in the ItemzFlowManager (Homebrew App) and then installed the new one via USB stick. I had the problem that my Savegame from changing the 84 CUSA to the 86 CUSA with the current patch at the time could no longer be read and was set to 0 (luckily I still had an older backup on the stick) with a trick I was able to start my CUSA 84 Savegame and make the save on the CUSA 86 executable :O (but that’s the worst case) If so, then it works without problems with another CUSA, there might be problems because you may have to remarry the patch or there is something inside that is region-dependent and can affect your save or the entire game.
